You have to provide a high standard in serving guests food and beverage in a warm, friendly and professional manner whilst adhering to company standards.  Promote Whittlebury Hall to all guests who use the C&E facilities.  You have to guarantee the smooth running of C&E Operation. You will provide personal and effective service in all areas of your job role responsibilities and liaison to guests who are either potential clients or who are currently clients.  


To focus on the daily function of C&E Operation, maintaining a high standard of service and customer care in a friendly and relaxed environment.


•    To report for duty punctually as per your department rota, wearing the correct uniform attire

•    To take responsibility for C&E and related areas whilst on duty, carrying out tasks as required

•    To serve guests there food and beverage requirements, in a timely and professional manner

•    To clear used dishes, cups and equipment from coffee stations, conference rooms and service areas promptly

•    To attend to guest requests

•    To assist in the meet and greet of all trainers on arrival and assist with their training needs throughout their stay

•    To manage any changes to room layout and equipment requests in timely manner

•    Ensure all meeting rooms are set and serviced to standard at all times

•    Cleaning duties to include operational areas of C&E, conference rooms and preparation areas

•    Check cupboards and stock rooms on a daily basis are to standard

•    To speak with guests who have queries, complaints and take necessary action to satisfy the guest, reporting serious complaints to a senior manager

•    To assist in cleaning, polishing, storage and distribution of C&E equipment

•    To assist in preparation and maintenance of C&E for service, including re-configuration of the conference rooms, coffee stations

•    Assist other members of the team in the execution of their duties when it is apparent they need support

•    To understand the current companies using the conference rooms and there requirements of lunch timings etc throughout the day

•    To be able to self check coffee station set up

•    To be able to self check meeting and syndicate room set up, including Brooklands and Grand Prix

•    To handover to the next shift, ensuring that all information has been relayed correctly and to the best of your knowledge

•    Report any maintenance issues immediately and follow up

•    To safeguard company property at all times and to ensure the security of the department whilst on shift

•    To understand and have a good level of verbal English

•    To have a basic food hygiene

•    To attend any training courses as instructed by the hotel to ensure statutory compliance

•    To be fully flexible in working in other areas as needed by the business
