Adrian has been a qualified personal trainer for 5 years and has worked at Whittlebury Hall on a temporary basis for 4 years.
A keen interest in sport and health influenced his choice of undergraduate degree, which allows him to apply evidence based interventions to fitness goals within a gym and sporting environment.
Adrian has recently completed his postgraduate degree in sport and exercise nutrition which included a research project on high intensity cycling. The findings of this project allow him to apply the concept of high intensity exercise to client’s programmes to maximise their response to training.
Adrian’s primary interests are the influence of nutrition on sports performance and general health and how exercise and nutrition interact to allow for optimum functioning. These interests are applied to his own lifestyle to try and improve his amateur road cycling performance and overall wellbeing.
