From the fast and exhilarating to the peaceful and entertaining, Whittlebury Hall is an ideal base to explore a host of attractions in the surrounding area with something for all ages and interests.

From Sulgrave Manor, the ancestral home of George Washington and the beautiful landscaped gardens at Stowe and Castle Ashby, to the excitement of horse racing at Towcester Racecourse and motor racing at Silverstone.

The world famous Silverstone Circuit is next door with a full motor racing calendar and is home of the British Formula One Grand Prix, and for those wanting to indulge in their passion for speed they can enjoy driving experiences.

Whittlebury Hall also sits on the edge of the Rose of the Shires, so it’s not surprising to find a host of country homes, gardens, waterways and many miles of stunning unspoilt countryside and woodland for walking, cycling  and horse-riding, as well as the lovely market towns of Brackley and Towcester, and the many golf courses on offer.

Adjacent to Whittlebury Hall is the magnificent 36 hole Championship golf course at Whittlebury Park Golf and Country Club.
Whittlebury Park Golf and Country ClubIndependently owned and operated there are 4 loops of 9 holes, each with their own unique character, playable in any combination, so you do not have to play the same round of golf twice and will challenge every level of handicap.

Northampton, home to the world’s largest Shoe Collection at Northampton Museum and Art Gallery and The Royal and Derngate Theatre. There is also Warwickshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes just a short drive away for an interesting day out.

The Cotswolds, Shakespeare Country, Warwick Castle and Bletchley Park (home to the code breaking heroes of World War Two), Woburn Abbey and the designer shopping outlet at Bicester Village are all within easy reach.

Further north into Northamptonshire, Althorp, family home to Princess Diana and Rockingham Castle are just two of the many stately homes and castles worth visiting.
