Milton Keynes College is teaming up with one of the country’s leading health and beauty organisations, the multi-award winning, The Day Spa at Whittlebury Hall.
The launch of the new partnership was celebrated at an event on Wednesday 8th May where it was explained how College students will reap huge benefits in terms of gaining knowledge and experience at the leading end of the industry.
The Day Spa at Whittlebury Hall, was named Best in the Midlands at The Good Spa Guide Awards 2012 and this is the first time the spa side of the business has forged this kind of relationship with an FE College.
Head of Hair and Beauty at Milton Keynes College, Debbie Houghton, says, “We are very committed to providing students with employment possibilities once they have completed their courses and a partnership with such a well-recognised and respected business as Whittlebury Hall Day Spa gives us just that. The Day Spa at Whittlebury Hall opened in July 2005 and has steadily grown by reputation and delivering exceptional guest experiences. It is home to one of the largest and some of the most enviable spa facilities in the UK.
The award-winning The Day Spa incorporates a unique Heat and Ice Experiences which provides body sensations as a result of changes in temperature. Move through the treatments increasing your body’s temperature before stepping into the Ice Cave to stimulate your circulation and senses, whilst aiding the elimination of toxins and exfoliating the skin.
