Spa Therapist

MAIN OBJECTIVES AND JOB ROLE:

The position of the Spa Therapist is there to provide a service of excellence & high quality to all clients and guests visiting the treatment suite.

 

• Treatments carried out to be of high standard and with great professionalism throughout, adhering to timings and training guidelines.

• Personal appearance to be immaculate and professional – clean company uniform, hair tidy and tied back if long, white closed shoes, short tidy unpolished nails, appropriate make-up, no jewellery.  Attention to personal hygiene is essential.

• Fob watch on uniform on right hand side and name badge on left hand side.

• Be ready at work 10 minutes before shift is due to start.

• Assist in keeping all treatment rooms and other areas to a high standard of cleanliness and professionalism.

• To attend all departmental staff meetings as and when needed.

• To be enthusiastic and motivated at all times.

• To report any problems or issues arising to the Spa Management.

• Report any maintenance issues to the Spa Management.

• If unable to report to work due to sickness, this must be notified in line with company procedure.  This must be reported personally.

• To adhere to all regulations in respect of the Health and Safety Fire Regulations and Emergency Procedures.

• Acknowledge that retail is part of the service that you need provide for clients and guests within the Treatment Suite.

• To sell all aspects of the hotel during your consultation times.

• To continually upsell the Spa, when you have space throughout your diary actively sell the available space.

• To be fully knowledgeable on all products and treatments offered, whether trained or not to undertake them.

• To assist or undertake additional duties within reason as assigned by Spa Management.

• To undertake training as and when requested.

• To remember professional conduct, you are a representative of Whittlebury Hall.

• Responsible for retailing £100 per day unless directed otherwise by the Spa Manager – on achieving this target you will receive 10% commission for sales.

• Responsible for retailing at least one treatment per day where your daily availability allows.

• To follow company procedures at all times.

• To attend all departmental staff meetings as and when needed.

• To assist and undertake additional duties within reason, assigned by the Spa Management.

• To attend and training courses/sessions as requested by Hotel Management, please note that it is a requirement as a contracted member of the team that you are qualified in Elemis Face and Body, Espa Essentials, Espa Hot Stones, Elemis Exotics, Elemis Mum to be, Espa Hip and thigh.  The company will invest in these courses and you will be required to sign a training agreement.

• Ensure treatment times are adhered to.

• Any other reasonable management request.
