The double AA Rosette, multiple award-winning Murrays Restaurant reached finalist status in the Carlsberg UK Northamptonshire Food and Drink Awards.
The competition is designed to support the UK’s food and drink sector and celebrate some of the country’s most proficient food and drink products, services and venues, whilst maintaining strong connections with the community.
Murrays at Whittlebury Hall, sets the scene with an intimate and relaxing atmosphere, and promises a modern British menu with classical and international influences. The restaurant’s Head Chef and his team have introduced an array of delicate flavours and ingredients into their cooking to provide their guests with an unforgettable dining experience. The dishes are creative while keeping in with classic tastes; almost presenting food as fashion, where the latest blends of flavours are used in signature dishes to create a truly distinctive meal.
Murrays was aptly named after legendary F1 commentator, Murray Walker. The walls of the restaurant are lined with a collection of his photographs, and more amusingly, some of the ‘unique’ anecdotes of his memorable career!
Craig Rose, Executive Head Chef, said: “We are honoured to be chosen as finalists of such a prestigious award! It showcases our exceptional fine dining whilst putting us firmly up there with some of Northamptonshire’s most prolific and best restaurants.”
Bernhard Zechner, General Manager of Whittlebury Hall Conference, Trainining Centre, Hotel and Spa, said: “Murrays at Whittlebury Hall fine dining restaurant is going from strength to strength in its dining experiences, having recently won The Foodie Guide 2012 Best Restaurant in Northamptonshire.
